| Professor Herzog is a leading scholar in the field of early modern and modern legal history. A jurist and historian, Professor Herzog has been pioneering the study of administration of justice and constitution of communities in colonial settings in the Americas and in Europe. In Germany, she will contribute to the research on the uses of the past in legal cultures of the Global South and the Global North. |
